Location : Rochdale

Salary : £23,000 - £25,000

We are currently working with a client based in Rochdale who distribute your buy in bulk wholesale soft drinks, alcohol, groceries, confectionery, household goods and pet care. They have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm.

Key Duties:

Reporting to the Financial Director you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Communicating with customers via email, phone and letter - resolving any complaints/queries
  • Formulating reports for overdue payments and running credit reports when required
  • Working closely with the company director in establishing and meetings the needs of the business
  • Inputting data and rectifying discrepancies in ensuring figures are correct and up to date
  • Managing contracts between suppliers, clients and other contractors associated with the business

Profile:

  • Need to have strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong IT skills
  • Beneficial to have experience within a similar role
