Our client is an established accountancy practice in Lincoln, looking to grow their accounts team with a Accounts Assistant. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant, ideally with a practice background however they will consider someone without this sector knowledge

Responsibilities of the practice accounts assistant:

• Preparation of limited company and sole trader accounts.
• Preparation of personal tax returns.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Experience of using Xero.

Candidate Profile for the practice accounts assistant:

• The successful candidate will likely be an accounts assistant, accounts semi senior, AAT studier / qualified with demonstrable accountancy practice experience.
• Experience of Xero or similar accounting packages.
• Minimum of 2-3 years in a a similar role.
• The successful candidate will be able to prepare draft VAT Returns.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
