Accounts Assistant - Part-Time

Join a thriving consumer product company as an Accounts Assistant working part-time 20-22 hours per week.

THE JOB:
Based at their office in Watford you will be working directly with the Finance Manager, your role is crucial in supporting the finance team by contributing to a wide range of accounts related tasks:
- Working with spreadsheets, sales, and purchase ledger enquiries.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting cash flow, including month-end requirements.
- Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Processing of suppliers’ purchased invoices and credit card expenses.
- Chasing debt.
- Monthly bank reconciliation.
- Supporting with balance sheet reconciliations.
- Validate invoices against items or services received.
- Address and incoming queries or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Assist in processing payments and resolving any discrepancies or issues.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Previous accounts experience is essential
- High level of mathematical skills with strong attention to detail
- A good working knowledge of Excel and, ideally Sage

SALARY & BENEFITS:
- £13-14 per hour, depending on experience, equivalent to £27,000 - £30,000 pro-rata
- 20 days holiday + public holidays
