The Accounts Assistant role:

We are on the search for an Accounts Assistant to join the team and play a crucial part within our team.

As Accounts Assistant, you'll be involved in a range of tasks and accounting processes. We will look to you to be adaptable, self-motivated, and thrive working in a dynamic workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, and filing
+ Managing important departmental deadlines
+ Building a good rapport with staff and consultants and providing an accounting team with relevant information
+ Assisting with daily and monthly bank reconciliations
+ Reconciliation of Client reports
+ Data evaluation
+ Managing expenses
+ Processing and recording of bills-to-pay in accordance with the company procedure
+ Processing and recording of self-billing invoices in
+ Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties

A bit about you:

+ Excellent organisational and time-management skills
+ Solid low-level accountancy and basic bookkeeping skills
+ Computer literacy - Xero, Excel, Dext, Google Sheets, Zoho Expense
+ Solid understanding of financial systems and processes
+ Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and make recommendations
+ The ability to function well in a team, as they need to provide support as needed
