Reed Accountancy are currently partnered with an established client in the East Grinstead area who are seeking an Accounts and Facilities Executive to join their team. This role will require a hands-on, proactive individual to play a key role in their small but busy team.

Day to Day duties of the Accounts and Facilities Executive:

  • Timely payment of all overhead invoices for UK and Ireland offices
  • Querying and resolving invoice discrepancies with external suppliers.
  • Raising invoices to suppliers and customers
  • Conduct bank and cash reconciliations daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts
  • Allocation and reconciliation of customer receipts and processing refunds.
  • Credit card reconciliations and allocations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, including the allocation of prepayments and accruals.
  • Key point of contact for accounts queries both internally and externally.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of buildings and grounds, managing building security, fire safety, parking space allocation, waste disposal, and cleaners.
  • Manage utilities and review consumption
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all PCs and IT equipment, liaising with the IT Manager and coordinating the distribution and return of IT equipment to Sales Homeworkers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in processing high volumes of multi-currency transactions.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of proactivity.
  • Travel industry experience is advantageous but not essential
