Accounts Administrator | Belfast 

Employment: Full-time, office-based, permanent

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum

Reed Finance is partnered with a long-established engineering and maintenance business in Belfast, in the appointment of a permanent & full time Accounts Administrator.

With over 50 years of trading history, our client is an established Northern Ireland based engineering and maintenance company. Our client has forged a reputation as a market-leading force in their field across Northern Ireland.

The role:

The role is focused within the remit of Credit Control and Accounts payable. Reporting to the Financial Director, this is a key role within the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Process Purchase Orders and Purchase Invoices onto Sage
  • Reconciling Supplier Statements Posting supplier payments onto system
  • Liaise with Suppliers to resolve any invoice related issues or queries
  • Provide admin support to Financial Controller on an ad hoc basis
  • Reporting to the Director, this is a key role within the team.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Min 5 GSCE’s including Maths & English
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Competent verbal and written communication

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience in Sage is highly desirable
  • Previous experience working in busy office environment
  • MS Excel experience
