Accounts Administrator
Think Accountancy & Finance Recruitment is delighted to collaborate with a local business in the recruitment of an Accounts Administrator to join a small and tight-knit team. Despite being part of an international corporation, this position entails working within a compact office dedicated to serving UK clients. We are looking for candidates with strong administrative skills and a foundational understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in SAGE or equivalent accounting software is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Dealing with inbound calls and directing to appropriate colleague
- Logging customer helpdesk queries and passing to Engineers
- Processing sales orders
- Raising invoices in Sage
- Allocating inbound sales leads to correct member of sales team
- Chasing outstanding invoices for payment
- Escalating bad debt to sales team and senior management
- Managing administration of company car fleet
- Dealing with all paperwork relating to company cars
- Allocating purchase orders to Sage and relevant invoices
Candidate requirements:
- Strong administration experience
- Previous use of Sage is essential
- Good telephone manner and customer service ability
- Previous finance administration/accounts experience desirable
- Some previous experience of credit control would be beneficial
- Flexible and willingness to muck in within a small office is essential
