Role: Accounts administrator

Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Working hours are 37 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00 and                   Friday 08:30-16:30)

Salary: £22,000 to £24,000 depending on experience

I am looking for a Accounts Administrator who enjoys variety and wants to pursue a career in accounts to join a team just outside of St Ives.

What will you be doing in the Finance Assistant role?

  • Supporting the accounts team with sales and purchase ledgers
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Supporting with month-ends and years-end processes
  • Initial credit checks admin for new customers and increase limits for existing customers for Accounts Office Manager sign off

What we would like from you:

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Highly numerate with good attention to detail
  • Experience of using accounting software
  • Competent in the use of Excel and other Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Ideally AAT level 2 qualified or working towards this.
