Are you open to a Part Time position ? Flexibility in start and finish time based in Blandford ? 

I am working in partnership with a well known and reputable award winning Legal Firm, who specialise in private client, agricultural and family law.  Established in the 1900's they have evolved to become a firm of 105 staff (across 3 offices) and ranked in the Legal 500 UK Directory as one of the top firms in the South Region. Due to expansion and an increase in business they are recruiting for an additional Legal Cashier /  Accounts Administrator to work within a supportive and friendly team.

  • Salary is £23,000 FTE (position will be pro rata) 

Legal Cashier - Part Time x 3 days per week

Salary £23,000 per annum (FTE) therefore pro rata for part time hours 

Office based in Blandford (free parking)

Overall purpose:

  • To provide financial support services to the business as part of the Accounts Department, working efficiently and proactively in protecting our clients’ funds and accurately posting all transactions within the SRA guidelines.



Main Duties:

 

  • To support the operation of the firms accounting system.
  • To post online searches and chancel
  • To process land registry applications
  • To complete the daily production of cheques
  • To monitor the inbox of accounts
  • To process WIP transfers and write offs
  • To deal directly with clients personally for cash, cheque and card payments
  • To process the banking
  • To check outgoing bank payments

  • to assist all departments and colleagues within the firm as requested
  • to adhere to and familiarise themselves with the firm’s values and policies
  • to include other reasonable duties and tasks which are part of, and incidental to, this type of work
