This firm offers a variety of business services, such as bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, taxation to clients from a range of industries. The Partners are passionate about personal and professional growth and offers lots of great opportunities to progress within your career.This firm is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

Your new role Your new role will be based in the London team and duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Completing a range of
  1. Bookkeeping (including multi-currency and intra-group transactions)
  2. Payroll
  3. VAT returns
  4. Management accounts and statutory year-end accounts with the team often acting as the first contact for all client queries. This includes LLP's and medium-sized group consolidation under FRS 102
  5. Corporation and personal tax returns
  6. P11d preparation
• Supervise, assist and train other members of the team

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:

• An accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) - this does include those close to qualification with a few years of experience and those who are QBE
• Have recent experience within a UK accountancy practice including preparing accounts under FRS 102 and corporation and personal tax experience
• Be confident in supervising and coaching junior members of the team
• Sound knowledge of using the accounting software IRIS & QuickBooks Online
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be flexible and able to adapt to meet deadlines and have the ability to excel in a team environment or individually
