Accountant

Hales Group are thrilled to be working on behalf of our client who are seeking an Accountant to support their busy office in Lowestoft. In this role, you will be responsible for covering all aspects of year end accounts production, tax return preparation, bookkeeping and VAT returns.

Main duties will include:

• Responsible for covering all aspects of year end accounts production
• Tax return preparation
• Bookkeeping
• VAT Returns
• Look after a small amount of clients, reporting directly to a partner.

The successful Accountant will have demonstrable experience of the following:

• AAT qualified or QBE ( although applications will also be considered from ACA / ACCA qualified)
• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
• Adaptable to change and committed to ongoing learning and professional development to stay current in their field.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

LOCATION: Lowestoft
HOURS: Full-Time
DURATION: Permanent
PAY: Flexible DOE
