Assistant Manager

Due to continuing year-on-year growth, this leading Business Service team have the opportunity for another ACCA or ACA-qualified accountant from an outsourcing or Practice background to join their team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing your portfolio of clients and supporting Managers and Partners with their portfolios.
• Leading a team, including planning, monitoring and reviewing work and providing constructive feedback.
• Involvement in projects including data analysis (using Power BI, Amstack, etc), system review and implementation (Cloud-based systems such as Xero), and forecasting.
• Undertaking more complex accounting requirements for your portfolio and liaising with other departments on your client's requirements.
• Assisting in marketing, business development, client pitches, and recruitment and training.

About you

This is an ideal role for a qualified ACCA or ACA seeking to develop their career and improve their salary, benefits and work-life balance. It is anticipated you will:

• Be ACCA or ACA qualified with a Practice, Business Services or Outsourcing background.
• Have experience of, or an interest in, utilising cloud-based systems and technology in your role.
• Be able to demonstrate knowledge of UK reporting standards, IFRS, and UK GAAP and have gained some supervisory experience.
