I am super proud to be supporting a unique Charity based in Cambridge in their search for a highly experienced Accountant to help them through a period of growth and change.


This unique Charity is doing incredible things and by joining them you are helping them continue the incredible work they do in order to fight a troubling, global problem.


Supporting the Head of Finance, you will take ownership of the routine accounting responsibilities in order for them to focus on the strategic growth of the business.


Working 3 days a week you will oversee the finance operations and;

  • Ensure monthly reporting is accurate and timely
  • Complete month end and year end close
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations
  • Oversee payroll processing
  • Produce high quality financial reports
  • Take part in staff meetings, communicating findings/reports to both finance and non-financial colleagues
  • Support the wider finance team in the roll out of a new finance system

In order to be successful in this role, you will be open minded, highly analytical with a great attention to detail, self motivated and great with people.


It goes without saying that you will need to be enthusiastic about being a part of this incredible charity and take pride in knowing that with your support in this role, it is helping them achieve great things.


This role is initially offered as a fixed term contract for 12 months. Hybrid working is available (if required) and you will be expected to work in the office at least once a week.
