Job Description for Account Manager:

Do you have sales experience? Are you looking to step into a role which combines customer service and the potential to earn extra though bonus/commission? We have the exciting opportunity for an account manager to join an established organisation in the Bromsgrove area. You must be able to drive due to the location, the salary for this is £25-30,000 depending on experience with a realistic OTE of £35,000 in the first year. The ideal candidate would have an excellent attention to detail to ensure orders are processed through correctly, able to provide an excellent customer service as well as generating revenue through sourcing and converting leads. This position is full time in the office Monday- Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities for Account Manager:
  • Follow-up leads with the aim to convert into a sale.
  • Consult customers on suitable solutions for requirements.
  • Actively seek new opportunities and contact cold customers to generate further pipeline.
  • Provide quotations accurately and followup.
  • Process orders ensuring details are always processed correctly.
  • Ensure stock is available and provide realistic ETA’s.
  • Upsell and cross sell where possible to maximise on revenue.


Experience and skills required for Account Manager:
  • At least two years within a customer service, business development, sales administrator, sales support/ order processor.
  • Keen interest in sales, target driven.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Foreign language would be beneficial such as German, French, Belgium.
