Client Account Manager
  • Salary Range: £30,000

We are on the lookout for an experienced B2B Account Manager to join our Client Services Department. This role is ideal for someone with a knack for assessing financial and operational data and a passion for delivering exceptional service standards. If you’re a self-starter with the drive to challenge the status quo and enhance business processes, we invite you to become part of our dedicated team.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of client accounts, addressing all enquiries.
  • Prepare and present regular business updates, including technical health, financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure detailed minutes and actions from reviews are recorded, circulated, and tracked.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and third-party providers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Recommend process changes to senior leadership to drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee projects aimed at enhancing Client Services.
  • Promote our range of services and work with the new business team to cross-sell products and propositions.
  • Perform additional duties as required by your manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a B2B account manager, preferably within the energy sector.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Creative and engaging presentation skills.
  • Confident and professional in public forums.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
  • A desire for self-development.
