I am working with a large manufacturing company in Sittingbourne who are seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their high performing sales team. This role is focusing on new business through key product promotion and account development.

Day-to-day of the role as the Sales Account Manager:

  • Achieve the monthly sales budget for the area.
  • Maintain regular contact and develop professional relationships with all customers.
  • Focus on key products to develop the area and customer base, as defined by the Sales Director.
  • Maximise potential profit from each account through range selling, price increases, and additional charges.
  • Generate sales leads and utilise the CRM system for customer base expansion.
  • Quote new sales opportunities within the sales area via the CRM system.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Sales Account Manager:

  • Previous sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Previous formal sales training is essential.
  • Computer literacy, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a personable telephone manner.
  • Ability to prioritise with effective time management.
