Role summary:

The Contractor Account Manager role purpose is to grow the sales revenues of your account portfolio through excellence in account management and effective collaboration with relevant sales and business development colleagues. The role has prime accountability for profitable sales growth, customer acquisition, retention and satisfaction, for the allocated portfolio of customer accounts.

Should the customer experience be compromised you will be the key point of contact for the business and the customer, having accountability for issue resolution and report to your Line Manager actions taken to safeguard against reoccurrence.

The Contractor Account Manager within LES is responsible for a selected portfolio of directly purchasing customer accounts. Customers must be first, last and always, creating a customer centric experience for our customers whilst growing and maintaining each customer account to achieve revenue targets set by the sales manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build value adding sustainable relationships with your Customer base.
  • Proactively work with your Line Manager to ensure your Account Portfolio is optimised for sustained, profitable growth.
  • Ensure you have a well-structured Customer Action Plans including call plans for your allocated customers and record all appointments in Outlook linked to account in CRM.
  • Participation in customer events as appropriate to fit with the EG model.
  • Participation in company led events.
  • Collaborative Teamwork with all MEUK sales teams, pre-sales technical and operations departments to ensure you have a well-managed pipeline of profitable potential to me your targets and business goals.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership capabilities for leading opportunity and project engagement in a coherent, co-ordinated and value adding way for your customer and profitable work winning.
  • Actively seek new opportunities with enthusiasm and interest to demonstrate a winning mentality.
  • To utilise all product features, benefits and legislative drivers
  • Manage your customers sales within the discount remits as outlined by commercial policy ruling at the time.
  • To identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives for our sales processes, that enable commercial efficiency and effectiveness.
