Our client is a leading International Electronic Products Manufacturer and Distributor, who are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join their growing team in Northern Ireland, this particular function is specifically within the automotive sector - working with high profile brands. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing and managing business sales operations.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of building a strong customer portfolio, and a proven track record of driving sales and business growth.

The Role & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to UK Sales Director and Head of Sales, HQ (Germany)
  • Accountable B2B-sales of the client’s solutions to existing and new customers in different potential industries (eq. Construction & Agricultural Machines, Commercial & Special Vehicles) in dedicated market/area or segments according to annual budgets/ objectives
  • Proactive Account Management & Business Development in order to enhance and foster growth
  • Development and maintenance of the current customer relationships, profitability and service levels
  • Participation and execution of company vision & strategy implementation
  • Definition and Implementation of own Strategy & Vision
  • Utilising video conferencing and planning and coordination customer of visits to optimize time management

About you

Key Skills Required

  • 3-5 years B2B-sales experience within the automotive, electronics, electricity or related components (eq. vehicles, construction machines etc.) industries
  • Ability to open new business opportunities (prospects) and create long-lasting customer relationships
  • Ability to develop existing customer relationships further
  • Excellent interactive and negotiation skills in a persuasive and constructive manner regardless of the issue/ person in question
  • Ability to understand customer’s business needs.
  • High commitment to individual and company objectives in the long run (self-motivation)
  • Willingness to grow along with the requirements of one’s job in the future.
  • Appropriate education and general industry related knowledge
