Our client is keen to appoint an experienced individual to join their broking team, servicing clients and always ensuring the highest quality in customer service and technical excellence! You will have a core focus on meeting the needs of clients and prospects, dealing with day-to-day enquiries from customers, inviting renewals and transacting new business.

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the continued success of the business and as such, experience in the motor insurance sector is ESSENTIAL.

  • Edwalton, hybrid after training - 1 day from home / week
  • Full time, Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 5.00pm, 1 hr lunch
  • £25,000 - £29,000 per annum + bonus up to £200 per month!
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Manage new business enquiries and client renewals, including where necessary the remarketing of policies, issuing renewal documentation within timescales set out by the FCA.
  • Handle incoming client queries, regarding policy coverage and/or changes to their cover.
  • Develop relationship with key insurer markets.
  • Cross sell/up sell to existing clients, by identifying any potential gaps in cover or policies held elsewhere.
  • Contact lapsed client and not taken up new business lists to attempt to win back the business.
  • Actively promote the referral process when placing new business or renewals
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and complied with, including financial regulations, data protection, health and safety and all regulatory requirements.

Experience:

  • Private Lines (Motor) account handling experience essential
  • Strong communicator
  • Negotiation skills
  • Customer service & sales focussed.
