A level trainee into Insurance A Level Maths

A Lloyd's Underwriters seeks a trainee, someone who is studying or has got A level Maths/or taking them shortly, strong numerical skills, with good IT skills to work as a trainee in their Underwriting team. Candidates will also have a minimum of grade B in Maths GCSE (or equiv)

The company seeks a person keen to work in the Insurance market and can demonstrate some understanding of insurance.

Communication: Should be able to display well-developed communication and interpersonal skills in order to interact with the team and with internal and external contacts.

To assist Underwriters & Assistant Underwriters in day-to-day administration and maintenance of their class of business

Entry of underwriting risk data into underwriting system, including setting up new risks, amending and completing entries. Monitoring of credit control and assistance in chasing Brokers.
