£37/hr -No Court - Remote - CP Social worker (West midlands)
Contract - Full time - Hybrid Working
Looking to take a step back from the case heavy front line of social work? While taking on a 3 day remote working structure, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home more often? This duty and assessment post might be the one for you.
This is a locum vacancy paying a generous hourly rate of £37/hr, while giving you the freedom to carry out visits from home. Allowing you to distance yourself from court work thanks to a separate court team being in place.
The team is focusing on reducing workload for Social Worker's. This means you have more time to focus individually on the assessments at hand and on making a difference. Rolling contracts (12+ months), and a 4 day condensed week are on offer.
About the role:
- Putting together CP plans and carrying out regular visits to families under these.
- Carrying out Assessments and Child Protection Enquiry work with its associated Assessment
- The team will then assess and support children, young people and their families
- Carrying a caseload of 20 on average

What you'll bring to the table:
- Post-qualifying experience as a social worker in R&A or CP (or any relevant experience)
- Hard work and commitment, a strong and convincing display of a drive to succeed.
- Solid communication skills and relationship building capabilities.
- DBS Checked
