We are recruiting to fill a current vacancy within our Team based in Luton

Working on our Clients site the role involves the movement of materials to load/unload both road and rail vehicles and effective material management in line with Site Managers and Client expectations.

Working as part of a small but very efficient team, the 360 machine operator will have responsibility for all the usual machine pre-use checks, supporting the Site Manager in ensuring that the machines maintenance regime is maintained by the supplier etc.

You will have a solid and recent knowledge of all H&S regulations pertaining to site operations and support the team as a whole that Contractors / Visitors to site are supported in ensuring that all H&S regulations are maintained whilst on site.

We are looking for someone with a minimum 18 months similar experience who holds a minimum CPCS Blue card for 360 Excavator, tracked and wheeled, ideally with lifting operations experience. Additionally if you hold an operators card for Loading Shovel, this would be a distinct advantage

This is a temp2perm opportunity and therefore brings with it pro rata 33 days leave pa, PPE supplied plus overtime, although at standard rate.

We have the ability to start a new operator at short notice but all proposed candidates will be required to meet with the Regional Terminals Manager for a short chat and an Operational Review to establish capabilities before offer is made.

Suitable candidates should ideally live within 30 minutes or less travel of LU3 1RJ.

This role comes with a company supplied vehicle as there will be a requirement to support Operators in and around London on occasion

Please note, we have a zero tolerance policy to the use of Drugs & Alcohol, we enforce this on a regular basis through random D&A checks. Anyone found under the influence this being proven after testing, will have their contract revoked immediately
