2PQE Corporate Solicitor - Newcastle

A leading North East firm has a vacancy available in their central Newcastle head office for a Corporate Solicitor with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience. This firm is consistently recognised as one of (if not the) leading legal service providers in the North East region with impressive rankings in both the Legal 500 and Chambers, in addition to winning multiple awards recognising the achievements of not only the Corporate team but many other divisions and sectors across the firm. With a headcount of approximately 170, this firm is truly a powerhouse in the North East region with ambitions to grow even further.

This role is open to qualified lawyers with at least 2 years of corporate experience at post-qualification level. Areas of experience which candidates will need to demonstrate include at least one of the following:

• Mergers and acquisitions;
• Shareholder arrangements, reorganisations and company advice;
• Listed company transactions and IPOs; and
• PE/venture capital transactions
  

Not only will you need a demonstrable interest in this area of law in addition to corporate finance transactions experience, but you will also need to be a self-motivated individual who can work well within a wider team in addition to being able to grasp the commercial requirements of your clients.

The firm has a dedicated hybrid/agile working policy and subject to business need offer the opportunity to work 2 or 3 days per week from anywhere.
