1:1 Teaching Assistant - Lyndhurst / New Forest, Hampshire - ASAP start!

Academics are seeking a calm and empathetic Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils in need of additional support. You will be joining an 'Outstanding' specialist independent school for pupils aged 5-19 years who have social, emotional and mental health needs, autism spectrum conditions, social communication difficulties and associated learning difficulties based in Lyndhurst in the New Forest area.

This is a full-time position starting ASAP. If you get on well, there is the opportunity of applying for a permanent position within the school.

The suitable Teaching Assistant will have experience of supporting children with special educational needs, ideally within an SEN environment. You must be empathetic, nurturing, be able to manage varying levels of challenging behaviour and have the ability to think on your feet and adapt to situations.

You will be joining an experienced, very supportive team of Senior Leaders, Teachers, and Teaching Assistants and will be provided with the necessary training.
