This is a great opportunity to join a lovely primary school in Runcorn. The school are currently seeking an enthusiastic and caring 1:1 TA to work in a child who requires additional support. In this role, you will have the privilege of working on a 1:1 basis with a child with special educational needs. As a Teaching Assistant you will provide key support for the class Teacher as well as becoming a fundamental day to say support for the child.

You will be highly motivated and committed to upholding the highest standards of pupil achievement. The school's ethos revolves around creating a caring and sharing environment, and we are looking for a 1:1 TA who can embrace and contribute to this spirit.

In this role as a 1:1 TA, you must be able to demonstrate strong collaboration with fellow staff members. It is important that you are able to adapt activities to cater to the diverse learning styles and individual requirements of the student you will be supporting. Effective communication is key, as you will interact with children, parents, and colleagues on a regular basis. Building positive relationships with both students and colleagues is crucial in order to foster progress and achievement among the children you work with. Furthermore, a positive approach to managing children's behaviour is highly regarded within the school community and is seen as key for the 1:1 TA.

A Level 3 or equivalent qualification but don't worry, the school are happy to consider applicants with strong experience if they don't have the qualification. Your enthusiasm and passion is key. It would also be a huge positive if you have previous 1:1 and/or SEN experience. For those who don't have a relevant qualification, relevant experience will be considered for this 1:1 TA role.
