Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? Our client school, located in the heart of Muswell Hill and rated "Good" by Ofsted, is looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support within their Year 4 class.

About the Role:

  • As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of a student within the Year 4 class.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1:1 support tailored to the student's individual needs
  • Assisting with classroom activities and adapting materials to accommodate the student's learning style
  • Implementing strategies to support the student's academic progress and social-emotional well-being
  • Collaborating closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create and implement personalised learning plans
  • Managing any challenging behaviours in a calm and supportive manner
  • Building positive relationships with the student, their peers, and parents/carers to foster a supportive learning environment.


Entry Requirements:

  • Previous background working closely with challenging SEN students, preferably within a primary school setting
  • Updated enhanced DBS certificate
  • Immediate availability to start
