We are looking for a 1:1 Autism Teaching Assistant to work with a child with Autism currently in Year 1 in an Independent School in Tunbridge Wells.

This role is 8am - 12pm Monday - Friday for the Summer Term (16th April - 5th July).

The school values each child as a unique individual and has a strong partnership with caregivers. Classes are small, with highly qualified staff which ensure children develop a positive and confident attitude to learning. This will allow you as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to focus your time and attention on your 1:1 knowing you are surrounded by supportive professionals.

What we are looking for in a 1:1 Autism Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with Autism
  • Experience working in KS1
  • Patience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm and approachable personality

Information on the 1:1 Autism Teaching Assistant role:

Location- Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Pay- £85- £100 per day (dependent on experience)

Hours- 8am - 12pm Monday - Friday

Contract- Summer Term (16th April- 5th July 2024)

Year- Year 1
