1:1 ASD Teaching Assistant 'Outstanding' Primary School - Basingstoke

ASAP Start - £83-£90 per day

An excellent Primary school in Basingstoke are searching for a teaching assistant to join them this term. This is a small one-form entry CofE primary school graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. The Head Teacher is searching for a teaching assistant to work 1:1 with an SEN child in Year 1 on a long-term basis. The start date will be ASAP. Initially this contract will be for the rest of the academic year, through to July 2024 with the potential to be kept on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Autism and ABA. The child is in Year 1 and the teaching assistant will be required to work with them during all lessons and to ensure they are involved in wider school life. Previous experience in a similar role is ideal for this position.

This role requires someone who will be reliable and committed - the child needs a consistent support system and this will be a vital part of this role.
