The Role

This is a great opportunity for a Communications Manager (Change) to join a dynamic and forward-thinking FTSE 100 company dedicated to creating exceptional living spaces for our customers and facilitating an environment where our colleagues thrive.We`re embarking on two significant transformation programs rooted in technology and are on the lookout for a talented and passionate communications specialist to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering compelling change communications.

As the Communications Manager (Change), you`ll be at the forefront of driving engagement and excitement surrounding our transformative initiatives primarily focused on internal communication but taking our external ambition into consideration. Collaborating with multi-functional project teams, you will craft and deliver communication strategies that tell our story and showcase the positive impact of our evolving services.

What you`ll be doing

  • Evaluate and enhance existing communication strategies to ensure alignment with effective project delivery
  • Develop and execute internal communication plans to support individual transformation projects
  • Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to understand change objectives, shaping communications accordingly
  • Provide communications guidance to project owners to help create a customer focused narrative and support managers in effectively communicating change to their teams
  • Use existing communication channels - email, intranet, town hall meetings to consistently deliver engaging messages
  • Draft compelling articles, presentations, and other communications materials
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies, adapting as necessary to ensure impact

What we`re looking for in you

  • Demonstrate a passion for change and love of creative communications
  • Have a proven track record in transformation/change communications, ideally in a commercial organisation
  • Experience of working with a communications team that operates in a matrix structure
  • Be able to showcase creativity in interpreting complex information, develop engaging plans and ideas that will bring projects to life through written and digital content
  • Exhibit strong stakeholder management skills and able to build relationships and act as the link between teams and projects
  • Possess excellent planning skills and be able to manage competing priorities and be flexible to changing deadlines
