We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator for our client based in Pershore. Hours of work are: 7am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday/ 7am-12pm Friday Pay rate: £14 - £15 per hour Contract: Temporary to Permanent Your duties as a Welder/Fabricator will include: Manufacture a wide range of steel and aluminium fabrications.Perform MIG welding on structural and tubular steel assemblies.Carry out fitting and assembly work where requiredWork independently from engineering drawings.Use workshop equipment such as: GuillotinesPress-brakesMetal cutting toolsSaws and other fabrication machinery Follow good workshop practices and contribute to a safe working environment. To be successful in the role of Welder/Fabricator, you will need: Strong MIG welding ability.Competent in reading and working from technical drawings.Good general workshop knowledge and practices.Experience in steel fabrication or engineering service/maintenance.TIG welding ability (advantage but not essential).Health & Safety awareness in an engineering workshop setting.Ability to work with steel and aluminium materials confidently.Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
