Our client, a leading healthcare business with operations in both the UK and overseas, focuses primarily on the long-term care sector and incorporates a number of market-leading brands.Your new roleReporting directly into the UK Managing Director, you will be responsible for providing key day-to-day accounting support across a number of areas including management accounts, VAT, payroll and financial analysis. Key duties: Production of the monthly management accounts packMonth-end reporting including the processing of journals, accruals and prepaymentsBank reconciliationsBalance sheet reconciliationsProcessing and submitting quarterly VAT returnsMain point of contact for annual audit and support with the production of annual statutory accounts/corporation tax returnsMaintaining fixed assetsProducing analysis for stock takes and updating cost pricing/revaluation of stockProducing sales reports and cash forecastsProcessing payroll, pensions and PAYE submissions and processing, submitting and calculating P11D's What you'll need to succeed Qualified/part-qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBEStrong understanding of management accounts, VAT and payrollConfident communicatorExcellent analytical skillsGood Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookUps etc.)Working knowledge of Sage 50 (desirable) What you'll get in returnIn return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualification) and the chance to work for a well-established and stable business.
