This role is open to candidates who wish to work remotely; However you will be required to attend quarterly team meetings at the Harrogate office.Role: Software DeveloperA fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our development team in the role of Software Developer. Friendly and vibrant, we’re looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm and energy with them into the existing team. You’ll be responsible for contributing towards the design, build and maintenance of a range of bespoke internal products and customer facing web applications. More than just maintaining and expanding existing products, in this role you will have the opportunity to get involved with greenfield projects and technologies. Using your programming skills and ability to apply the latest web, mobile and database technologies you’ll be helping to future-proof the success of our products.More about the teamWe are a fast-paced agile team, where no two sprints are the same. Operating in Agile setting we are always working to improve our processes and practices, our team is smart and direct, and we ask questions that challenge each other so there is ample opportunity to help the team grow and improve.Responsibilities Leverage programming skills and knowledge to implement features and functionalitiesAssist in the testing and deployment of software applications and productsActively participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standardsInvestigate and debug software applications, identify root causes, and implement effective solutionsCollaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align technical deliverables with project goalsContribute to internal documentation, knowledge base, and technical articlesEffectively communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and establish a shared understanding of technical issues and solutionsManage tasks and timelines effectively.
