Key Responsibilities of the Research Specialist: As a Research Specialist, you'll take the lead in designing and delivering impactful research projects that meet client goals while driving profitability. You'll also play a key role in expanding the business by identifying new clients, services, and market opportunities. Design and implement innovative research systems and delivery methods tailored to client needs.Explore and pursue emerging services and markets to grow our clients R&D portfolio.Lead the planning, management and successful execution of research projects.Ensure all projects are properly registered, monitored, delivered on schedule and invoiced accurately.Communicate research outcomes through engaging lectures, presentations and hands on demonstrations.Collaborate with clients to define project scope, set clear objectives and deliver high quality protocols and final reports.Lead and mentor a team, supporting their development and driving team performance. Skills/Experience required for the role: Demonstrated ability in applied R&D and project management.Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, including throughout the UK and Ireland, to pursue business development opportunities.Strong technical knowledge in a relevant scientific discipline.Familiarity with ARM software and its application in trial work.A full UK driving licence.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.A degree in amenity or agricultural sciences, or significant practical experience in the field.Enthusiastic, self motivated, and willing to work flexible hours to support business growth.Interest in sport and its relation to research applications.Background in product registration processes and trial execution.Confident leadership, management, and networking capabilities.
