Day-to-day of the role: Support children and families through tailored interventionsApply safeguarding and child protection procedures with care and confidence, reporting concerns promptly when needed.Oversee resources for service delivery, from equipment to accurate case recording.Collaborate with professionals across children’s services, health agencies, and community organizations to provide joined-up, effective support.Accurately and clearly record case notes deploying the necessary standard of writing and IT skills.Working with other professionals and of challenging professional judgements as appropriate. Staff supervision.  Skills and Qualifications: UK experience working directly with children.Full UK driving license and own transport.NVQ Level 3 or above. Experience working in the community is an advantage. Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and promoting the welfare of children. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to write complex reports and produce other management information – which may be used for external purposes. Ability to work part of a team and lead if necessary.  Although this role is advertised by Reed, you’ll be employed directly by the company, with guidance and support from Reed.
