Primary Teacher
Smart Education is currently recruiting for Primary Teachers to work in a range of mainstream primary schools across the Teesside area. We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated teachers for flexible day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements, with opportunities across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. Job requirements:· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK· Experience teaching in primary schools, with good curriculum knowledge of EYFS, KS1, or KS2· Ability to plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons· Strong classroom and behaviour management skills· Passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing· Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team· Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)· Two professional references covering the last two years Role responsibilities:· Delivering high-quality, creative, and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners· Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly· Creating a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment· Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development· Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote effective learning· Maintaining accurate records of pupil achievement and behaviour· Contributing to the wider school life, including planning and assessment
