Engineering Manager
Binnies UK, part of the RSK Group are recruiting for Engineering Managers to lead engineering teams for our Delivery team.The engineering teams deliver innovative engineering solutions for projects within our frameworks across the UK. The Engineering Manager will be accountable for the planning, co-ordination and execution of engineering solutions to scope, cost and programme to meet our Client’s requirements. The ability to travel to various offices and project sites is essential.Key responsibilities:Ensure that health and safety in design development is at the forefront of our workPlan, execute, monitor and control engineering output for projects in terms of scope, time, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, and stakeholder managementManage change control and detailed design programmesBalance the needs of multiple projectsProvide leadership to the project team engineers & be responsible for the overall technical coordination and production of multi-disciplinary outputs and designs within a digital environmentActively coordinate with all other internal/external project team members including procurement, construction and commissioning teamsParticipate in or lead client meetingsEnsure engineering team understand & apply relevant quality system, design guides, standards, systems, engineering codes and Binnies policies and proceduresSupport continuous improvement and change management effortsMay provide support to business development or pursuit activitiesTypically oversees performance management, mentoring, recognition, learning and development and any corrective actionsQualifications & Requirements:Degree in engineeringSeveral years years related work experienceSeveral NEC3/4 PSC - project management or contract administration experienceProven leadership skills to manage multi-discipline engineering teams, & create positive changeMotivated to deliver engineering solutions for Water, wastewater & sludge treatment projectsPrevious experience in a technical engineering lead role on projectsAll applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.Experience of working in the Design & Build environment with partnering contractors to deliver the successful implementation of engineering solutionsGood understanding of digital engineering and its use in the delivery of projectsReady to join a company where your impact matters?Apply now to become part of our growing engineering team and help us shape the future of water infrastructure in the UK and enjoy the below benefits:9-day working fortnight Competitive pension scheme 33 days annual leave Paid volunteering day each year Enhanced parental leave Private medical cover Annual bonus (subject to company & individual performance)
