The Role & Key Responsibilities You will support the engineering design service function of Project Centre in the delivery of highways and transportation projects. Assist in the delivery of a range of Transportation & Highway projects relating to preparing drawings and designs (Concept, Preliminary & Detailed Design stages) in accordance with standards & guidelinesUndertake technical tasks assigned by project managers and senior managers.Ensure tasks are delivered within deadline and to a high standard of quality.Day to day supervision and management of junior staff and assistant engineers.Co-ordination of project delivery where other design teams or service areas are involved.Support junior team members (CAD Technicians, Graduates and Apprentices).Undertake any duties as and when required to assist in the operations of PCL. The Position & Key Responsibilities This role will require you to operate independently or as part of a team to deliver and outline detailed designs for minor and major highway schemes and traffic management projects. The role requires an in-depth knowledge of 3D highways design, processes, and requirements for delivery of construction drawings and workable highway designs. Opportunity: Senior Highways Engineer RateNegotiable and CompetitiveDuration: 12 months IR35: Inside We are seeking a Senior Highways Engineer to help develop and oversee delivery of a wide range of projects from sustainable travel schemes to major road network projects.
