My client, based in Thame is looking for a Forklift Operator. The role will be based in their transport yard and warehouse, reporting to the Transport Manager. You will be required to: Work across various activities to support the pallet network for the Transport Manager including forklift operations.The role will include moving or collecting items from the warehouse to vehicles ensuring all specific processes and Health and Safety guidelines are followed.Meeting delivery targets in a fast-paced environment.Deal with customers politely and with respect.Acting as a positive representative of our client at all times.Have the ability to work on your own with flexibility and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have: A current Counterbalance certificate.Previous driving experience with a full and clean driving licence.You will need to be flexible, willing to adapt and learn and will be comfortable working in a transport and warehouse environment. Working hours are 45 per week Monday to Friday to be worked between 8.30am - 6.30pm (with 1 hour for lunch). Contracted overtime Saturday mornings 5am - 11am once per month. Salary from 28,600K depending on experience with 22 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
