Due to ongoing growth, they have created a new role of Financial Analyst to work with systems and data sources across the business, bringing together data for analysis and reporting that will support the budgeting and financial forecasting processes in the business. Typical duties will include: Create financial models using financial and other business data to support fact-based decision-making and support the budgeting and financial forecasting processes Produce and maintain detailed revenue forecasts Analyse business revenues, prices, costs and margins, producing insightful reports to highlight financial performance Develop improved methods and processes to enable internal charges to be calculated and reported Undertake variance analysis to highlight the difference between planned and actual performance Help to develop the Financial reporting and Management Information structure for the business, including Management Accounts Support effective internal and external reporting, providing cover for the Management Accountant when required. Marks Sattin are working on behalf of a well established and progressive professional services firm based in Bristol to recruit a Financial Analyst on a permanent basis. A truly commercial role that will support the finance business partners with the relevant information to drive performance, work on planning activities such as budgeting/forecasting and develop existing skills further. The Financial Analyst role will be paying between £30,000 and £35,000 per annum plus study support, hybrid working options (2-3 days in the office), 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
