This role offers the chance to be directly involved in the development and commissioning of high-performance automation systems used across diverse industrial environments. You’ll work both on-site and in-house, contributing to projects that span the UK. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement automation software, primarily using PLCs and structured textInstall and commission automated systems on customer sites Integrate software and hardware components for custom automation solutionsSupport the continuous improvement of systems and internal commissioning processes Skills & Experience Required: PLC programming Experience (Beckhoff, Siemens)Experience with IEC-61131-3 languages (Structured Text desired)Good experience with robot programming (KUKA or similar platforms)Good mechanical and electrical aptitudeWillingness to travel across the UK and stay away from home when required (expenses + overnight allowance)App development skills in C++ or C# are beneficial but not essential Qualifications & Requirements: Full UK driving licenceElectrical training or qualifications (desirable)Experience in creating electrical designs for automated machinery (desirable) If you're a controls/automation professional who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working closely with customers, this role offers a great opportunity to work on innovative projects in a supportive and forward-thinking team.
