Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce high quality products that confirm to customer expectations.  Responsibilities: Set and operate CNC turning machines using FANUC controls.Collaborate with operators and inspectors to standardise inspection methods.Operate multiple machines in sequence and measure parts using micrometers.Work in a manufacturing environment, meeting production targets while checking for defects and quality issues.Maintain shop floor controls and measuring equipment.Ensure a safe working environment and suggest improvements to the direct manager.Communicate and reinforce the company’s commitment to quality improvement efforts.Comply with H&S legal requirements, policies, and procedures at all times.Work within the ISO9001 quality management system and meet customer-specific requirements. PAY: £18.12 - £20.41  (£39,594 - £48,253.73) inclusive of shift allowance, with the opportunity to progress further.
