You will be working across the Midlands region and so can be based anywhere within that wider area. My client has built a trusted reputation with a repsected name behind them and is looking for an expeirenced, like minded MRICS Chartered Surveyor who has experience of Level 2 and 3 Surveys to join the team. Chartered Surveyor Benefits £50-60,000 packageWork from home opportunityMonday to Friday hoursPotential flexi hours for the right personCar allowance / Vehicle available Chartered Surveyor Duties This position is home-based, but you will be working alongside a multi-disciplined team of Chartered Residential and Building Surveyors and will also need to be in reasonable commuting distance to their office which is in Sutton Coldfield. Duties to include: Carrying out RICS Building surveys & Homebuyer surveys on properties within the geographical area that the business coversPreparing detailed reports for clients regarding the condition of their property (in the form of Homebuyer, Building Surveys and Condition reports using the RICS templates)Undertaking condition reports for housing associations in accordance with the ‘Decent homes’ guide (training can be provided if required)Supporting other surveyors/Directors during busy/holiday periodsCommunicating with clients pre and post-survey to provide peace of mind and reassurance with regards to the service we are providingCarrying out insurance valuations for reinstatement purposesKeeping up to date with the market and undertaking regular CPD Chartered Surveyor Experience and Skills required Ideally based in the West Midlands and have experience working in this areaMRICS/FRICS Qualified is a mustVRS registration is preferred but not essentialNeed to be able to drive and have a full driving license and carTechnical surveying skills – ability to deliver comprehensive level 2 & 3 survey reports which can be interpreted by the general public (RICS report format preferred)Excellent communication skillsRelationship-building abilities - Customer service and client management skillsTime management – able to manage your own diary/workloadPossess a proficient level of Numeracy skillsMaintaining quality of work and professional attitude when under pressure Contact Magnus James is a specialist recruiter for the property industry and covers the following areas, New Homes, Residential Lettings, Estate Agents, Property Management and Block Management.INDLC
