About the Role: As a Master Technician, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch servicing and repair work for both internal and external customer vehicles. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing customer concerns using advanced Hyundai diagnostic equipment and techniques. The successful candidate will be required to work on priority jobs requiring Master Technician level skills on both Hyundai and Genesis cars based at the Tilbury Import Centre. Key Responsibilities: To ensure that all work is completed in accordance with Hyundai requirements including preparing technical reportsTo ensure that all job cards are read and understood before commencing workTo report any additional work or parts required to the Workshop Controller for customer authorisation before starting that workTo ensure that customers cars are protected from damage whilst in the workshop environment To complete necessary documentation in respect of any warranty work completed and be responsible for the labelling and safekeeping of all warranty displacement parts To ensure that displaced parts for disposal are made unusableTo ensure that special tools and equipment are kept in good order and that any problems are immediately notifiedTo maintain the work bay and surrounding areas in a clean and tidy fashionTo always work in a manner ensuring the HMUK safety policy and procedures are adhered toTo ensure that technical reports are correctly prepared as measured by the Hyundai Warranty and Operating Standards Audits To ensure that all work is performed to the highest standard as measured by the Hyundai Customer Satisfaction ReportsTo work as efficiently as possible as measured by the Hyundai Monthly Dealer Composite Reports Person Specification: Preference given to technicians trained to Master technician or equivalent level.IMI level 4Previous Franchised Dealer technical experienceFull clean UK Driving LicenceAbility to work in a clean and organised mannerWillingness to work in a team
