Warehouse Administrator
Warehouse Administrator – £12.40 – Newmarket – Temp to Perm – 9am-5:30pm We are searching for a Warehouse Administrator on behalf of our client based in Newmarket. The successful candidate will be joining a small but friendly and welcoming team, will be reporting to the Warehouse Manager and will be responsible for the following: Main duties and responsibilities: Responding to customer orders, queries and problems, liaising with warehouse and transport colleagues as necessary.Ensure customer and business needs align with the safe handling and storage of productsOperate the Business, and where relevant Customer, stock accounting systems to access information and accurately record data, ensuring that stock movements and balances are recorded in line with customer stock reporting obligations.Ensure the proper preparation and presentation of consignment documentationMaintain an effective system for the storing and retrieval of Customer supplied product information, including information relating to product hazards, so that such information can be quickly relayed to relevant parties in the event of any queries/incidentsMaintain awareness of product hazard characteristics and associated risks. Undertake appropriate Awareness training.Exercise tact and discretion at all times in dealing with customer issues, with respect Warehousing and Transport Regulations. Key Skills: Excellent Organisational skillsPersonable and confidentExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalExperience in the use of Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook and Excel Why work with Hales?
