I'm currently sourcing a Test Technician for my client in Blyth, on a 1 year contract, which is likely to be extended. Duties include: Perform pneumatic, electronics, and software testing on breathing protection products, systems, accessories, and components on new and serial production, in alignment with standards and test procedures. PneumaticSupport the design, specification, and procurement of test equipment to enable verification and validation of new products.Execute programs to test product functionality, and environmental performance.Identify, capture, and share best practices with other Test Technicians.Documentation of test results and test related data.Maintenance of department standards and procedures: 6S, test procedures, SOPs, general maintenance & calibration, and H&S requirements.Coordinate and manage logistics of products and equipment for the PQ team.Take initiative and proactivity, maintain records of laboratory, and conduct basic equipment maintenance where required - i.e. calibration, etc.Conduct Administrative duties on behalf of the PQ team.
