Reinsurance Technician
Our Client is seeking experienced Reinsurance professionals to join them in order to work as part of a dedicated team of Technicians. This is a role that can be conducted on a remote basis. As a Reinsurance Technician, you will: Understand the Client's business, continually working with the Account Executives to fully support any specific client requirementsParticipate in renewal planning, anticipating and preventing possible issuesManage and coordinate workflow around renewals for your clientsDelivery of reliable, high-quality and timely technical and administrative supportAttend relevant meetings, ensure notes and follow up actions are completedDevelop and maintain close working relationships with Brokers & Account ExecutivesGenerate and issue evidence of cover, debit notes and closing instructionsProduce contractual documentation to a high level and within timescalesProduce data, statistics, and information packs in support of the placement of a client's programmePrepare accurate and timely production of client documentation (Market Reform Contracts, Evidence of Cover, Policies, slips, wordings clauses etc) in accordance with client and market needs.Manage and resolve queries from clients and Insurers RTo be a successful Reinsurance Technician you will demonstrate: Previous Reinsurance experience within Pro Rata, Binder, Facultative and/or Excess of Loss is advantageousSuccessful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectationsSignificant experience of working in a technical capacity for a Broker is favourableExperience of using London Market systems such as ECF and LORS is idealProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge Additional Benefits: On top of a competitive salary, you will be offered a fantastic benefits package including: Generous pension contributionPrivate Medical InsuranceMedicare cash planMinimum of 25 days annual leave (with flexibility to buy more)Life AssuranceIncome ProtectionCritical Illness coverEnhanced Maternity, Paternity Adoption and Shared Parental Leave
