Based in a friendly and supportive team, you will work with a range of interesting clients but the majority will be financial services based. Full training will be provided. Your role will be hands on and mainly preparing work yourself but will also include an element of reviewing work and supervising juniors. Your role will be bias towards management accounts but will also include statutory accounts preparations, Vat returns, corporation tax returns and other ad hoc duties and advisory projects. You will also have the chance to work closely with clients in setting up and implementing new software packages (such as Xero) as well as new systems, processes and controls. Your role will be advisory based, varied, challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. The firm offers hybrid working – allowing all staff to work one day a week from home and flexible start / finish times.To be considered for this new role (January 2026) you must be either ACCA or ACA Qualified, either newly qualified or up to 2 yeas PQE. You must be working for a good quality practice firm, likely a small or medium in size and you must have experience of preparing management accounts and ideally statutory accounts too. You must have experience of FRS 102 and using a disclosure checklist when preparing accounts. You must also have experience managing junior staff, reviewing their work and providing feedback. It would also be an advantage if you had experience of financial services clients / FCA regulated clients, but a strong interest in this area is fine.
