The Company Our client are a marketing leading IT solutions provider, who are experiencing a rapid period of expansion. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an Account Manager to their commercial team. The Role Joining as an Account Manager in an established Apple focused education sales team. This position reports to the Head of Sales and you will be allocated dedicated Regions to manage. Your main tasks will be: Management of Key Accounts and Development AccountsExisting account retention & growthOpening new business opportunitiesClosing and managing strategic project sales and larger value opportunitiesExecuting Key and Development Account plansExplaining the value proposition to each customerBuilding relationships with key contacts and stakeholdersUnderstanding client needs and aligning products, solutions and added value propositions accordinglyAchieving and exceeding margin based targetsManaging and growing an accurate sales pipelineAccurate sales forecastingUpdating system-based CRM with relevant end user data What We are Looking For The successful Account Manager should be able create professional relations with customer stakeholders and your colleagues, making planned decisions about what work needs to be done and when in order to manage and expand the Region/s sales. A strong sales ability, as well as numeracy, literacy and IT skills are important. You should be able to demonstrate: Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience of IT and/or education sales would be advantageous but not essentialStrong organisation and prioritisation skillsAbility to work efficiently under pressureTime management skillsTeam Player The Package Our client is offering the Account Manager a generous basic salary of £27,000-£30,000 plus uncapped commission (first year OTE an additional £7-10,000).
