If so then read on as a wonderful opportunity exists at this Buckinghamshire based International Development charity for a Human Resources Manager on a part time basis to join their expanding team at an important time as they invest for the future and their continued successes. The successful candidate is offered flexible working around other commitments (e.g. study, childcare responsibilities, other part-time roles, voluntary work, etc) in making up their 22.5 hrs each week and will take the lead on designing and implementing and effective HR management service to enable the charity to achieve its strategic and organisational objectives, maximising the value of their people resources. You will be providing strategic HR input to the Board and senior leadership team,, advising on policy and procedure, compensation and benefits, recruitment, performance management process, support their safeguarding and travel security policies and related matters as well as managing the HR budget. You need not have previous charity sector experience, however you will be CIPD qualified with evidence of continual educational development and demonstrable experience in a HR Managerial position, supporting other managers and colleagues on HR issues, managing staff performance, restructuring, redundancy and other HR processes. With an excellent appreciation of UK employment law you are highly organised and IT literate. Additionally, given the importance of the HR Manager role in shaping organisational culture, the post holder must be willing to engage with, support and contribute to the Christian ethos and values of the charity, and to design and implement HR policies consistent with such ethos and values. It is therefore an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 that the post holder should be a practising Christian.
