Team Administrator, Global Charitable Organisation, initially 6 months FTC, 24 hours a week to £32K pro-rata. Some flexibility around working hours will be required.

Our client, a global charitable organisation requires a flexible Project Coordinator. This is will be a 6 month FTC (working remotely) and is to start ASAP. As part of a friendly team the Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting both project management activities and fundraising efforts, ensuring the smooth execution of initiatives while contributing to the organisation's fundraising goals.

Main duties of the Project Coordinator are:

  • Support project planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress against set goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective project communication and coordination
  • Assist in organising events, workshops, and meetings related to project activities
  • Conduct research to support project initiatives
  • Research potential funding opportunities and assist in donor prospecting and cultivation efforts
  • Support the preparation of grant proposals, donor reports, and other fundraising materials
  • Maintain donor databases and records, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
  • Maintain project documentation, including reports, databases, meeting minutes and action
  • Manage communication with external stakeholders through public inboxes
  • Executive diary management
  • Provide general administrative support to the project as needed

Skills and experience

  • 2 years or more experience in relevant roles
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong administrative skills, preferably including database management
  • Experience using collaborative IT software, preferably including Google Workspace
  • Demonstrate ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate ability to work to cross-departmentally
  • Demonstrable ability to work flexibly and be self-motivating
  • Demonstrable commitment to inclusive working, ensuring equality and valuing diversity
  • Experience in a specific project management and/or fundraising capacity is desirable
  • Educated to undergraduate degree level and/or equivalent relevant professional experience
